Lychee, a refined fruit
This fruit, which is both naturally tart and sweet, adds a smooth and tangy finish to our fruit sparkling !
In December 2012, lychees from Reunion Island were awarded the prestigious “Label Rouge” certification, demonstrating the high quality of La Réunion’s products : juicier, more fragrant and sweeter lychees.
Good to know: in Reunion Island, it is called “letchi” and not “lychee” !
The benefits of lychee
The lychee, which comes from China, was traditionally offered to emperors (no less).
It was introduced to La Réunion in 1764.
It is known for its many virtues : rich in vitamin C, it boosts the body. Good for the skin, effective against headaches and there are even people saying there is a link between eating lychee and good sleep !
Hibiscus flower
and its infusion
It gives our sparkling drink a slightly pink color thanks to the dried hibiscus flower infusion.
Endemic to Reunion Island, it is the ultimate travel flower ! It is even one of the island’s emblems.
The benefits of hibiscus infusion
Dried hibiscus flowers are known to be rich in polyphenols, antioxidants and vitamin C, which can help fight skin aging.
The Victoria pineapple,
king of pineapples
A tangy, refreshing flavor, a slightly yellow skin and a stimulating taste that everyone will love !
In 2005, the Victoria pineapple from La Reunion was awarded the “Label Rouge” for the best pineapple in France.
A little history
Introduced in La Reunion Island in 1668, it owes its name to Queen Victoria, who loved to eat this fruit.
With its golden color and crown of leaves, the Victoria pineapple does indeed have a slightly royal appearance… God Save the Queen!
The benefits of pineapple
It boosts the body thanks to its vitamin C and helps fight colds. Its fiber also makes it ideal for digestion and a great detox fruit !
Kaffir lime : a lesser known citrus fruit
A lively finish on the palate allows you to discover its uniqueness in our fruit sparkling.
Kaffir lime has an intense, spicy flavor reminiscent of lemongrass, coriander and ginger.
Lesser-known than its cousin, the lime, it is every bit as good !
It is used as the essential tangy condiment in Creole cuisine.
The benefits of kaffir lime
Rich in vitamin C, it boosts your immune system.
Its leaves are also known to fight certain infections and are used to make essential oil.
